
A 20-YEAR-OLD Garden Grove man was arrested Sunday evening for allegedly stabbing another man with a sword.
A 20-year-old Garden Grove man has been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of another man by using a sword. According to the Garden Grove Police Department the incident occurred on Sunday at 6:09 p.m.
Tam Huynh, 20, was arrested after a domestic dispute in the 9700 block of Acacia Avenue in Garden Grove.
Police say that the 21-year-old victim arrived at the scene of the disturbance and was attacked by the sword-wielding suspect. Family members separated the two men and the victim was taken to the hospital where he is in stable condition.
A woman trying to stop the fight suffered what police describe as an “unintended” stab in the leg. She was treated at a hospital and admitted. She is listed in stable condition.
The suspect was found inside the home and arrested without incident.
