
A HUNTINGTON BEACH man has been sentenced to two years in station after firing four BB pellets at a police sub-station.
A Huntington Beach man has been sentenced to two years in state prison for shooting a BB gun at Huntington Beach substation. A window in the building was shattered while officers were inside.
According to the Orange County District Attorney’s office, Antonio Padilla, 29, pleaded guilty at West Justice Center in Westminster on March 28 to one felony charge of vandalism and one misdemeanor charge of grossly negligent discharge of a BB device.
The incident took place at about 1 p.m. on March 16. Padilla fired four shots at the glass window of the substation and fled the scene. Two of the metal pellets broke the window, causing nearly $1000 in damage. He was arrested the same day.
