FOUR local prep teams posted wins in Thursday’s first round CIF-SS baseball and softball playoffs.

Four local high school baseball and softball teams advanced to the second round of the CIF-SS playoffs with first round wins Tuesday night.

More first round games are set for Friday in both baseball and softball.

Second round games are set for next Tuesday (May 23).
