Nineteen people are dead and as many as 50 other people injured in a bomb explosion at a concert in Manchester, England on Monday where pop star Ariana Grande was performing.
Authorities are investigating the explosion as a “possible terrorist incident.” The detonation came right after Grande – who was not injured – had finished her final songs and patrons were beginning to leave the Manchester Arena.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that a male suicide bomber may have been responsible for the attack.
“We are working to establish the full details of what is being treated by the police as an appalling terrorist attack,” said British Prime Minister Theresa May. “All our thoughts are with the victims and the families of those who have been affected.”
