Seven people were hospitalized after a two-car collision in Huntington Beach on Monday at the intersection of Warner Avenue and Springdale Street.
According to Eric McCoy, public information officer for the Huntington Beach Fire Department, nine HBFD units were dispatched to the scene of the crash. When firefighters arrived, they found one person was trapped inside the wreckage of a vehicle and had to be extricated before being taken to a local hospital. Six other people were treated at the scene and hospitalized for evaluation.
Three engines, two trucks and three emergency transport vehicles, along with a battalion chief worked on the scene of the accident.
