One man is dead and one other wounded after a shooting incident early Saturday morning in Westminster.

According to reports, the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. at the Club Bleu Restaurant and Dancing, located at 14160 Beach Blvd., south of Westminster Boulevard in the Civic Center area.

The decedent was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange where he was pronounced dead at 2:11 a.m. His identity, age and city of residence were not immediately made public, pending notification of family.

The other man wounded by gunfire was also hospitalized. The shooter was said to flee on foot through the parking lot.
