One goal not enough in loss to Leafs

ANAHEIM DUCKS lost to the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-1 on Wednesday.

The Anaheim Ducks lost 3-1 to the Toronto Maple Leafs Wednesday night ay Honda Center, continuing a pattern of win one, lose one. The loss put the Ducks’ record at 6-5-1, setting them in fifth place in the NHL Pacific Division with 13 points.

Ondrej Kase scored the sole Anaheim goal, tallying at 9:09 of the first period to tie the game at 1-1. After a scoreless second, the Leafs tallied twice in the third to grab the win.

The Ducks play again Friday night in Anaheim, hosting the Nashville Predators (5-5-2).
