Police investigate possible murder-suicide

POLICE in Huntington Beach are investigating what they believe is a murder-suicide in the shooting death of two elderly people.

What police believe may be a murder-suicide took place Friday morning in the Huntington Harbour area of Huntington Beach.

According to Lt. Tim Martin of the HBPD, police received a report at 8:07 a.m. of a shooting in the 4100 block of Aladdin Drive, located near Warner Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway.

Arriving officers found an elderly man and woman outside the location, both suffering from gunshot wounds. The male was pronounced dead at the scene and the woman was taken to a local hospital where she later died.

The HBPD is investigating thus incident as a possible murder and suicide; the deceased have not yet been positively identified.
