HUNTINGTON BEACH firefighters knocked down a residential fire Saturday morning which started in a chimney.

A fire that began in a chimney was extinguished Saturday morning in Huntington Beach. According to the Huntington Beach Fire Department, the blaze was reported around 6 a.m. in a multi-unit development at 3368 Sparkler Drive in the Huntington Harbour area.

The fire extended into the walls but was kept from spreading to adjacent units. Six HBFD teams worked the fire and knocked it down quickly. There were no injuries and the cause is under investigation.
