Henrique wins it as Anaheim passes L.A.
Adam Henrique scored what proved to be the game-winner in the third period Thursday night as the Anaheim Ducks rallied to defeat the Chicago Blackhawks in the Windy City.
His goal capped a rally in which the Ducks overcame a 2-0 deficit with goals by Ondrej Kase and Nick Ritchie. Henrique’s goal came at the 8:34 mark. John Gibson had 42 saves in goal for the visitors.
The win allowed the Ducks (28-20-11) to move into fourth place in the NHL Pacific Division, breaking a tie with the Los Angeles Kings. Next up is a game Saturday in the Twin Cities to take on the Minnesota Wild (31-20-6).
