The 33rd annual Huntington Beach Concours d’Elegance will be held Saturday and Sunday on the grounds of the Central Library at 7111 Talbert St. (at Goldenwest Street).
The event will feature live entertainment by Aprile Deanne (VJ/vocalist), Hot Wheels racing and model trains for kids, “good food and interesting vendors.”
Saturday’s schedule includes exhibits of hot rods and custom automobiles. On Sunday there will be classic cars and motorcycles along with a variety of entertainments for children.
Hours for the public are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The HB Concours d’elegance is a non-profit organization benefitting the Children’s Resource Center at the library. Spectator admission is $10; children under 16 are free with adult. Parking at the adjacent Sports Center is $1 all day.

Airport noise workshop set for June 13
A community workshop of the Air Traffic Noise Working Group will be held on Wednesday, June 13 at the Parkside Room of the Senior Center, 18041 Goldenwest St. in Huntington Beach.

Open house on 405 improvements
An open house for the public to get more information on changes coming to the San Diego (405) Freeway is scheduled for Tuesday, June 5 at the Senior Center at 18041 Goldenwest St. in Huntington Beach.
A presentation will be made from 6:30 to 7 p.m. and will include a project overview, tentative bridge construction schedule and an interactive map and Waze app demonstration.
The open house will run from 6-8 p.m.
