Stephen Miller, described by the Associated Press as President Donald Trump’s “loyal combative bulldog,” will become the new White House chief of staff.

Miller, 41, will replace Susie Wiles in that position, reported the AP.
The move comes after Democrats won solid majorities in both the House of Representatives and Senate in this week’s mid-term election.

Without the support of a Republican majority, the Trump Administration may turn to “a potential burst of executive actions,” for the two years that remain on his second term.

Miller, speaking during the mid-term campaign, called some Democrats “extremists, freaks and America-hating lunatics” through social media posts.

“He’’ll do a great job” said Trump on Friday. “Great manager.”

Production of cybertrucks to cease

Production of the distinctive Cybertruck will be “winding down” in order to give way to the new two-seat Cybercab, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced on Friday.

United Press International is reporting that – in a social media post – Musk called the Cybertruck “the best vehicle Tesla has ever made.”

The Cybertruck is manufactured in a factory near Austin, Texas. It’s unclear whether the vehicle might be built in another location later.

Launched in 2023, an estimated 20,237 units were sold in 2025, down from 36,965 in 2024. Musk’s controversial political stances are believed by some to have led to a decline in sales.
