A new website for the City of Garden Grove has been launched. The new site – www.ggcity.org– features a new search engine and navigation system intended to emphasize city services and resources.
The site was created in-house by the city’s information technology staff, lead by Charles Kalil. The emphasis is on “responsiveness,” which means the site will be readable whether the user is viewing it on a desktop computer, laptop or smart phone.
Research indicates that most users of the city site are employing a mobile device.
This is the 10th version of the city’s website, the first debuting in 1996. The former web address – www.ci-garden-grove.ca.us– will direct users to the new site.
