ONE MAN was injured and another arrested in a car crash in Garden Grove Sunday morning.

One person was injured and another arrested early Sunday morning when an auto crashed into an apartment complex in Garden Grove.

According to police, the vehicle struck a wrought iron fence at 10931 Acacia Parkway – and then continued into an apartment’s rear patio area. No one at the apartment was hurt.

However, police found an “intoxicated male passenger” lying on the ground near the vehicle. He was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. The driver – indentified as a man named Quang Phuong Nguyen, 24, of Garden Grove – was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
