A STANTON woman is facing a manslaughter charge in connection with a fatal accident last year in Orange.

Arraignment is scheduled for Friday (today) in the case of a Stanton woman charged with vehicular manslaughter in an August 2017 accident in Orange.

According to the Orange County District Attorney’s office, 24-year-old Aliza Keiley Giglio – allegedly driving under the influence of marijuana – ran a red light and crashed her vehicle into the rear of another auto at about 8:20 a.m. on Aug. 6, 2017 on Santiago Canyon Road.

The impact pushed the second vehicle into the intersection, fatally injuring Clark Adams, 81.

If convicted of the felony charge of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, she faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in state prison. Arraignment was set for Central Jail in Santa Ana.
