Windy weather cancels Surf City Splash

The annual Surf City Splash event planned for today (Tuesday) in Huntington Beach has been cancelled due to “high winds and water safety concerns.”

Scheduled was a pancake breakfast this morning from 9-11 a.m. and a dip into the cold Pacific Ocean waters at noon near the municipal pier. The event benefits the International Surfing Museum.
