SEVEN LOCAL teams will be in the first round of the CIF-SS boys volleyball playoffs on Tuesday.

Seven local teams will open the CIF-SS boys’ volleyball playoffs on Tuesday. Here are the first round pairings as posted. The games are scheduled at 6 p.m.

• Division 1:  Redondo Union (26-5, champions of the Bay League) at Edison (15-11, champions of the Sunset/Wave League); Huntington Beach (24-8, third place team from the Sunset/Surf League) at Servite (19-11, co-champions of the Trinity League).
• Division 3: Camarillo (20-11, third place team from the Coastal Canyon League) at Bolsa Grande (17-2, champions of the Garden Grove League).
• Division 4: Paramount (23-10, third place team from the San Gabriel Valley League) at Garden Grove (21-12, champions of the Golden West League).
• Division 5: Ocean View (15-7, third place team from the Golden West League) at Hemet (25-5, champions of the Mountain Pass League); La Quinta (15-4, second place team from the Garden Grove League) at Sage Hill (7-9, third place team from the San Joaquin League); Orange (12-20, second place team from the Orange Coast League) at Indian Springs (25-1, champions of the Mountain Valley League).

Pairings and brackets for baseball and softball will be posted on Monday.
