A motorist crashed his car through a block wall and into a home Tuesday morning in West Garden Grove.
According to the Garden Grove Fire Department, the incident took place around 6:17 a.m. at 12561 Manley St. The crash triggered a natural gas leak. The driver was extricated from his vehicle by firefighter-paramedics and taken to a trauma center as a precaution.
The gas company shut off the gas and the house was red-tagged by the Garden Grove Building Department and the car removed. A resident of the home was not injured.
