STANTON CITY Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Mixed-use development and condition of shabby shopping centers are on Tuesday’s meeting of the Stanton City Council.

At the request of new Council Member Alyce Van, the council will consider rescheduling an earlier plan to tour locations in Stanton and other cities with developments that mix residential and commercial uses.

An earlier bus excursion was cancelled.

Also, at the request of Mayor David Shawver, the council will discuss what’s termed “dilapidated” shopping centers in the city.

The council will meet in its chambers in City Hall, 7800 Katella Ave., at 6:30 p.m.
