  • Garden Grove City Council will meet on Tuesday and take up the issue of whether to adopt a policy on the display of commemorative flags at City Hall. The meeting is at 6:30 p.m.

Also on Tuesday the Stanton City Council will consider the annual city budget.  That’s at 6:30 p.m. Additionally, the Huntington Beach Union High School District Board of Trustees will meet at 6 p.m.

AND … Don’t forget that Friday is Flag Day – bring out your Stars and Stripes – and Sunday is Father’s Day. No ties, please.

GRADUATION: Local high schools will be holding their commencement exercises this week. The Huntington Beach system will hold its graduations on Wednesday and Thursday while Garden Grove’s will be on Thursday and Friday. Check with your local high school for times, dates and location.
