
THREE PERSONS were hospitalized for smoke inhalation from an apartment fire in Garden Grove early Saturday morning (OCFA image).
UPDATE: A naked male was arrested Saturday morning while police were evacuating people from a fire at an apartment complex in Garden Grove.
According to Sgt. Mark Lord of the GGPD, police responding to a fire at the Crystal View Apartments at 12021 Chapman Ave. at 1:47 a.m. helped evacuate the complex, and noticed a naked male in a stairwell.
He was bleeding from a cut on one arm and “was uncooperative” with officers. He was detained by officers and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officers later determined the person lived in the complex and was arrested for an unrelated offense.

Three persons were hospitalized for smoke inhalation from a fire Saturday morning at an apartment complex in Garden Grove.
According to the Orange County Fire Authority, which now provides fire and emergency medical services for the city, the blaze took place at a complex in the 13100 block of Chapman Avenue.
Firefighters from the OCFA, Anaheim and Orange extinguished the fire. Those with smoke inhalation were transported to area hospitals by CARE Ambulances.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
