Nine cats rescued from condo blaze

SEVEN kittens and two adult cats were rescued by OCFA firefighters as they extinguished a blaze in an apartment condo complex early Saturday morning (OCFA photo).

They say that cats have nine lives. Well, they do if the Orange County Fire Authority is around.

OCFA units were called to battle a fire in the 8000 block of Catherine Avenue in Stanton early this morning. Firefighters found the garage of a condominium unit fully engulfed in flames.

The blaze was knocked down and in the process, seven kittens and two adult cats were rescued. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
