The Anaheim Ducks have hit a rough patch, winning just three of their last 10 games, but they have a chance to reverse that trend with a string of three games over five nights.
Today (Tuesday) the Ducks (9-8-1) will host the Detroit Red Wings (6-12-1) at Honda Center in Anaheim. On Thursday, they’ll face the San Jose’s Sharks (7-10-1) at home and then take to the road on Saturday for play the Blues (12-3-3) in St. Louis.
The week gone started with the Ducks losing 3-2 at home to the Chicago Black Hawks in overtime. Last Wednesday they fell 4-2 to the Minnesota Wild at Honda Center, then getting bombed by the Edmonton Oilers 6-2 on Sunday, giving them three consecutive home losses and putting them in sixth place in the eight-team NHL Pacific Division.
