
NEW CORONAVIRUS cases reported on Wednesday in Orange County are 131, and four deaths (Shutterstock).
Four more deaths and 131 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Orange County were reported today (Wednesday).
According to the county health agency, confirmed cases to date now total 3,004, including 268 residents at skilled nursing facilities and 216 inmates at Orange County Jail in Santa Ana.
The total of deaths is now at 65, including 14 from skilled nursing homes. The OCHCA also reported that 941 new tests have been conducted, bringing that total count to 40,707.
One hundred ninety-two cases are now hospitalized of which 73 are in intensive care units.
Anaheim continues to be the city with the most confirmed cases with 438, followed by Santa Ana with 389 (of which 216 are at Orange County Jail), Huntington Beach with 238, Garden Grove with 153 and Irvine with 138.
Local cities Westminster and Stanton have 47 and 29 cases respectively.
