The budget is available for viewing on the district website at www.ggusd.us.

Also on Tuesday, the board will hold a public hearing on the district’s special education service plan, and will consider an appointment to the GGUSD’s citizen’s bond oversight committee.

The district serves most of Garden Grove, and portions of Anaheim, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Santa Ana, Stanton and Westminster.

Local college students are honored by schools

Two area college students – one from Garden Grove and one from Huntington Beach  – have been honored by their schools by naming them to a list of academic achievement.

Kali Hyham of Garden Grove was named to the dean’s list for spring 2020 by Bucknell University in Pennsylvania.

Isabella Rymer of Huntington Beach was named to the dean’s honor roll for spring 2020 at the University of Mississippi (“Ole Miss”).
