A total of 162 new confirmed cases of coronavirus were counted in Sunday’s report from the Orange County Health Care Agency. That’s a decline from 181 cases in Saturday’s report.
The cumulative total is now at 6,261, including 665 residents of skilled nursing facilities and 377 inmates of Orange County jails.
There were one death from COVID-19; that total is now 147.
Four hundred thirty-six tests were reported Sunday, with the to-date total at 122,239. Two hundred thirty cases are currently hospitalized with 92 in intensive care units.
Recovered coronavirus patients now number 2,548.
The city-by-city count shows Santa Ana still leading with 1,214 cases, followed by Anaheim with 1,063, Huntington Beach with 344, Garden Grove with 343 and Orange with 280.
Westminster had 129 and Stanton 80.
