The number of new confirmed coronavirus cases in Orange County declined for the second consecutive day. According to a report of the county Health Care Agency, 132 cases were reported for Thursday, compared to 205 on Wednesday.
Deaths also declined, from 12 to seven, according to the OCHCA.
The total number of confirmed cases overall are at 9,292. Of those, 1,019 were from skilled nursing facilities and 387 from county jails. Judged to be recovered are 4,496.
Of the fatalities, 128 are from skilled nursing facilities. That total is now at 250.
Three hundred forty five cases are currently hospitalized, with 144 now in intensive care units.
The city count shows Santa Ana with the most cases at 1994, up by 17 from the day before. Following are Anaheim with 1784 (up by 30 cases), Garden Grove with 542 (up by 10), Huntington Beach with 455 (up by three) and Orange (up by seven).
Westminster has 203 (up by five) and Stanton has 111 (up by four).
