Statistics on the coronavirus pandemic are sinking to historic lows, according to today’s (Monday) report from the Orange County Health Care Agency.
Not only were no deaths reported, but also the number of new COVID-19 positive cases plunged to 44, one of the lowest numbers since the county began releasing figures this spring.
Further, the number of cases currently hospitalized with the coronavirus is at 193, with 56 cases in intensive care units, both low sums.
Here is a list of OC cities with the most coronavirus cases since the count began, as well as numbers for two other West Orange County cities. Deaths are in parentheses.
- Santa Ana: 9,790 (258).
- Anaheim: 8,689 (236).
- Garden Grove: 2,782 (74).
- Orange: 2,323 (57).
- Huntington Beach: 2,293 (70).
Westminster has 963 cases and 24 deaths; Stanton has 628 cases and 12 deaths.
