A woman was struck and injured by a car in Anaheim during a street racing incident early Thursday morning.

According to the Anaheim Police Department, the incident took place at the Anaheim Plaza Marketplace, 430 N. Euclid St. at around 1:30 a.m. Several hundred cars had “taken over” the parking lot. One of the vehicles was “doing donuts” when it struck the woman, the rear end of the automobile reportedly “flipping her into the air” and then landing on the pavements.

She was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. The driver of the involved vehicle fled the scene, say police, but was apprehended later.
