A community meeting to discuss possible future renovations the Woodbury Park in Garden Grove is set for Saturday, Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. The event will be held at the park, located at 13800 Rosita Place.
Neighborhood residents and park users are invited to attend in-person or virtually. To attend the virtual meeting, go to ggcity.org.parksplan. Access to ZOOM will begin at 10:45 a.m.
The meeting is part of the city’s application for state grant money of at least $200,000 up to $8.5 million to renovate a local park. Because of the conditions of application, including park acreage per resident and median household income in the surrounding area, Woodbury is considered Garden Grove’s best opportunity for a grant.
In-person attendees must follow health protocols including wearing a face-covering and maintaining social distancing.
