Ginny Moore, President of the Garden Grove Host Lions Club, announced Monday that the club will sponsor an event to show appreciation for Garden Grove Hospital’s “essential workers.”
Moore continued, “This event, led by chairperson Susan Lerma, has grown beyond our expectations, as multiple Garden Grove non-profits have joined our effort to help sponsor the day’s activities.”
Garden Grove non-profits participating include Boys and Girls Club of Garden Grove, Garden Grove Rotary, Garden Grove Neighborhood Association, the Garden Grove Council of Knights of Columbus, and One More Productions. Additionally, Mobile Kitchens USA contributed as well.
“On Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, Gifts of Gratitude will be distributed to all employees, thanks to the generous contributions from each group. Additionally, appreciation posters, handmade by Lamp Lighter Guild, CHOC members, will be presented and prominently displayed throughout the hospital for our local Healthcare Heroes,” she said.
“We are beyond thrilled to be able to partner with so many wonderful organizations who have come together to honor the essential workers at Garden Grove Hospital.”
