According to the SAPD, suspect Alfonso Jasso surrendered himself to police and was booked at the city jail for homicide. The victim has been identified as Jose Luis Solis of Santa Ana.

The incident was reported at around 8:57 p.m. on Friday at the park in the 3100 block of West First Street. Arriving officers found a man with gunshot wounds to his upper torso. Orange County Fire Authority paramedics responded and pronounced the man dead.
