Four killed in shooting in Orange

UPDATE – The man arrested for the fatal shooting of four persons in Orange Wednesday afternoon had a “personal and business relationship” with the victims, according to the Orange Police Department. OPD spokesperson Lt. Jennifer Amat, at a press conference this morning, also identified the suspect as Aminadab Gaxiola Gonzalez, 44.

The deceased victims were not been identified beyond stating that the child killed in the incident was a 9-year-old boy and the others were two women and a man.

The suspect, who was shot by police, is hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

Four people were fatally shot and a fifth wounded Wednesday afternoon in Orange.

According to police, the shooter was also wounded by police and was taken to a nearby hospital after being arrested.

The incident took place around 5:30 p.m. at 202 West Lincoln Avenue. That’s west of Glassell Street. It’s the site of a small office building.

One of those fatally shot was a child. The wounded victim was hospitalized.

No information is available about the details of the shootings or the identity of the victims or suspect.
