A bomb threat was used to hold up a bank Monday afternoon in Westminster.
According to the WPD, the incident took place around 2:30 p.m. at the Chase Bank at 15512 Brookhurst St. A suspect passed a note threatening to use a bomb if his demands were not met.
The loss was approximately $5,400 in cash. The suspect was described as a white male, six feet tall, medium build with a gray ponytail. He was wearing black sunglasses, a black beanie, black/grey shoes with white soles, a surgical mask and a floral print shirt.
The investigation into the robbery is ongoing.
