SIX AREA high school basketball players have been named all-CIF-SS (Shutterstock).

Six West Orange County athletes have been named all-CIF Southern Section today (Monday).

Among boys, in Division 3A, Eric Hodgkins, a junior from Marina High in Huntington Beach was honored, as was teammate Antoine Robinson, a sophomore.

In Division 5AA, Ahmad Hammouri, a junior from Western High in Anaheim, was named to the all-division team.  In 5A, Chris Abraham, a sophomore from Orange High, was honored.

Among girls’ teams, Hannah Stines, a junior from Orangewood Academy of Garden Grove, made the Open Division team. In Division 4AA, senior Briana Landeros of Santiago High in Garden Grove was selected.

All choices were made by members of the Southern California Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association.

Baseball and softball all-CIF/SS teams expected to be named on Wednesday, July 7.
