60 firefighters knock out blaze

Sixty firefighters battled and finally extinguished a commercial structure fire Sunday night through early Monday morning in Santa Ana.

The blaze was first reported around 11:30 p.m, according to the Orange County Fire Authority. Firefighters responded to the building in the 1400 block of East 17th Street. Arriving crews found fire and smoke through the roof.

Drones were used to help find hot spots. The OCFA crews were assisted by units from the Orange Fire Department. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
