Fast and furious was the way that firefighters from the Orange County Fire Authority handled a blaze Monday afternoon in Garden Grove.
According to the OCFA, the fire was in a retail center in the 13500 block of Harbor Boulevard (near Trask Avenue) at around 1:45 p.m. they knocked down the blaze in a self-service laundry business in less than five minutes.
That quick work not only prevented the fire’s spread to adjacent businesses, but also allowed the laundry firm to remain open. The OCFA provides fire and paramedic service to Garden Grove, Stanton, and Westminster in the west county area.
