An investigation is continuing into a shooting incident Friday evening outside Knott’s Berry Farm in which two people were wounded.
According to the California Highway Patrol and the Buena Park Police Department, the shooting was reported around 8:30 p.m. outside the park’s front entrance on Beach Boulevard, just south of La Palma Avenue.
Two teenage boys were reportedly wounded by gunfire. One was treated at the scene by paramedics and the other showed up at a hospital later. The wounds did not appear to be life-threatening.
The gunfire prompted some people to scramble to escape or hide. No other persons were hurt and Beach Boulevard near the park was closed for the investigation.
