A MAN was arrested Wednesday in connection with the stabbing death of a woman in Garden Grove (Shutterstock).

A man has been arrested in the stabbing death of a woman at a motel room in Garden Grove.

According to Detective Sgt. Evan Beresford of the GGPD, police were called at 5:44 a.m. today (Wednesday) to the 12000 block of Trask Avenue (near Harbor Boulevard) regarding a domestic disturbance between a man and a woman. Arriving officers found a woman in a motel room with multiple stab wounds. Despite the application of life-saving measures, the woman died from her wounds.

A man at the scene was detained and later arrested. The identities of the male suspect and female victim are not being released at this time as the investigation is continuing.
