The Garden Grove and Stanton city councils will each meet on Tuesday with relatively light agendas.
A “refresh of the city’s brand” is among the matter to be discussed at Stanton’s meeting. Councilmember Carol Warren is requesting a redesign of the city’s official seal as part of an overall effort to present a better image.
Also on the agenda are:
- a public hearing on a proposal to authorize angled parking on Village Center Drive from Beach Boulevard to the southern city limit;
- consideration of a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for city staff members, contractors and volunteers.
The council will meet in person in its chambers at 7800 Katella Ave. (east of Beach Boulevard) at 6:30 p.m.
Garden Grove’s meeting will include consideration of the city’s Comprehensive Strategic Plan to address homelessness, as well as a discussion of a proposed resolution in support of Afghan refugees and the people of Afghanistan, as requested by Councilmember Diedre Thu-Ha Nguyen (District 3).
The council will meet in-person at the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave. at 6:30 p.m.
