Traffic stop leads right to jail

A TRAFFIC VIOLATION stop resulted in the arrest of the motorist in Huntington Beach (Shutterstock).

A motorist pulled over for traffic violations in Huntington Beach Friday ended up in jail for more serious misdeeds.

After stopping the car, police discovered that the driver – who was not identified – had a felony parole warrant. A search of the vehicle found an AR-15 rifle with no serial number, loaded ammunition magazines and other weapons, as well as narcotics.

He was arrested on several charges, including being a felon in possession a firearm and possession of methamphetamine.
