The annual Tet Parade through the Little Saigon district of Westminster returned on Saturday after a year in which it was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Featured were floats, vehicles, marchers and more along Bolsa Avenue between Magnolia Avenue and Bushard Street in a procession that lasted from 9 a.m. to noon.
Among those on hand to celebrate the lunar new year – “The Year of the Tiger” – were public officials from the cities of Westminster and Garden Grove, as well as representatives from the public school systems that serve the area.
Organizations involved with the parade included the Vietnamese American Federation of Southern California, the Assembly of ARVN Overseas and the Coalition of South Vietnamese Veteran Associations.
