A GARAGE FIRE on Maypole Drive in Garden Grove was extinguished (OCFA photo).

A  garage with “excessive storage conditions” was the site of a fire knocked down Friday night in Garden Grove.

Orange County Fire Authority units attacked the fire in the 12000 block of Maypole Drive (southwest of Chapman Avenue and Brookhurst Street) and quickly extinguished it.

The blaze was confined to the garage and house was saved from extensive damage. No injuries were reported. 

OCFA firefighters were assisted by Garden Grove police and Anaheim Fire and Rescue.
