Stanton will likely increase counseling services at the Family Resource Center using federal funding, if approved by the Stanton City Council Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 7800 Katella Ave.

The proposed amendment to the existing agreement with the Boys & Girls Club of Garden Grove would increase the current part-time counselor position at the Family Resource Center to a full-time position, funded through the American Rescue Plan Act.

In other action, the council is expected to:

• Approve a subdivision tract map for the “Bigsby by Bonanni Development,” consisting of 79 townhome units at 12200 Beach Blvd., between Chapman and Catherine avenues.

• Award a $1,926,726 construction contract to All American Asphalt, Inc. for a citywide street resurfacing project.

• Declare May through August Drowning Prevention Awareness Months in Stanton.
