THE PUBLIC’S HELP is sought in providing information about a shooting early Sunday morning in Garden Grove (Shutterstock).

A 28-year-old Victorville man is in stable condition at a local hospital after being shot after a family party early Sunday morning in Garden Grove.

According to Sgt. Nick Jensen of the GGPD, the incident took place in the 10000 block of Crosby Avenue. At 12:42 a.m., officers were sent to that location in response to a report of a family fight.

During the party, several people there got into an argument, followed by a physical fight in the street in front of the home. During the fight, a man shot the victim in the abdomen, then fled in a white “import” sedan.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he underwent surgery.

Police describe the suspect as a 20-year-old Hispanic male. He was wanted for attempted murder.
