An early morning fire struck a house in Garden Grove but everyone in the home was safely evacuated.
According to the Orange County Fire Authority, the blaze was reported at 4:47 a.m. Wednesday (today) in the 13200 block of Westlake, southwest of Century Boulevard.
Arriving crews found a fire that had begun outside and extended into the structure. Firefighters quickly searched the home to make sure no one was in the building.
No injuries were reported and the Red Cross was called to help the displaced residents. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
