A blaze that broke out Thursday in an abandoned industrial building in Garden Grove was knocked down by Orange County Fire Authority personnel.
According to the OCFA, the fire was reported at 11:53 a.m. in the 13500 block of Harbor Boulevard (near Trask Avenue) after 911 callers reported spotting smoke.
The fire originated in an area of the building known to be occupied by transients, say authorities. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
The OCFA credits the Garden Grove Police Department with assistance in the operation.
