Many of us are grateful that our drought-stricken state and county are finally getting some rain, but don’t go overboard over it.

On Sunday morning, Orange County Fire Authority firefighter paramedics and Anaheim Fire and Rescue personnel cooperated on a water rescue from the fast-flowing and rain-swollen Santa Ana River at Garden Grove Boulevard.

A man was pulled from the river, treated by firefighter paramedics and taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

The forecast is for more rain tonight in the West Orange County area, but sunny skies on Tuesday. Wednesday should be cloudy and after that, partly cloudy conditions could persist right through Christmas.
