A suspect in the 1988 crash of Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, has been arrested.
According to the Associated Press, Abu Agula Mohammed Mas’ud Kheir Al-Marimi will be changed with planting the bomb that’s believed to have brought down the commercial jetliner and killed 259 people in the air and 11 on the ground.
After a long investigation, the suspect was named in 2020. A resident of Libya, that nation’s government has finally decided to turn him over to American authorities who will charge him with terrorism.
Orion splashes down in the Pacific
The unmanned Orion capsule splashed down in the Pacific Ocean on Sunday, back from orbiting the moon. According to United Press International, the spacecraft was being tested as a preliminary to NASA’s planned Artemis missions to the moon and possibly Mars.

Sunny skies are expected to be back on Tuesday with a high of 60 and a low of 40. Wednesday should be mostly sunny with a daytime high of 63 and an overnight low of 40. Partly cloudy conditions should follow toward next weekend.
