WESTMINSTER police are investigating a shots fired incident (Shutterstock).

Several gunshots were fired from  a moving car at another vehicle before dawn on Friday in Westminster.

According to Sgt. Eddie Esqueda of the WPD, the incident took place around 4:40 a.m. in the 13200 block of Jasperson Way (west of Beach Boulevard, between Garden Grove Boulevard and Trask Avenue).

A motorist was driving when confronted by an unknown suspect in a white sport utility vehicle. Several shots were fired at the victim’s car, one of them hitting the vehicle.

The victim was not injured and left the area without further incident before calling police. Officers responding to the scene found casings.
